Scott Gray LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in work with adults and teens with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, addiction, and shame/guilt. I’m passionate about working with individuals with neurodivergence. As a parent of neurodivergent children, I want to level the playing field by forging differences into strengths that bring about a more fulfilling life. Over the last decade, I’ve had the good fortune of working in various settings with multi-disciplinary teams as a therapist and social worker, including residential treatment settings for youth, hospitals for those with higher mental health needs, community-based treatment, addiction and recovery settings, and service men and women in the Air Force. Using a Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral approach with Mindfulness and trauma-informed care, I meet clients where they are, at whatever stage in their life. I focus on individual strengths while prioritizing solutions to assist in navigating life in a complex and ever-changing world.
One of life’s greatest experiences can involve close relationships, and as a relationship/couples therapist, I enjoy helping those in relationships communicate more effectively and create fulfilling and lasting closeness. I provide a safe place for those in relationships to communicate honestly and vulnerably in order to strengthen the relational bond. I aim to explore and find solutions that help the relationship and the individuals in the relationship obtain peace and satisfaction through connection.
All clients can expect to be accepted for who they are, be heard, be challenged, and hopefully be inspired to identify and use their strengths to find the best possible way to navigate their circumstances. Through compassion, empathy, understanding, and seeing life problems as opportunities to learn and grow as opposed to something to cast judgment upon, I hope to ally with clients in helping them reach their goals.

Johnathon Peterson LPC, LCMHC, CCTP
Hi there, my name is John! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling. I’ve been fortunate enough to have experience working with many diverse individuals, families, and couples. Additionally, I bring expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I’m dedicated to client-centered care and creative problem-solving.
I find great joy in helping individuals struggling with anxiety disorders, such as OCD, generalized anxiety, and social anxiety. I also excel at helping individuals working through painful past memories that they feel stuck in. My professional journey has grown my skillset in working with diverse populations, including adolescents learning to manage ADHD symptoms, parents of anxious children, LGBTQIA+ individuals, veterans and their families, multiracial families, and adoptees. Each of these experiences has enriched my understanding and enhanced my ability to tailor therapeutic interventions effectively.
I prioritize getting to know my clients as individuals, understanding their unique backgrounds, personalities, and experiences. This involves identifying their therapy goals, developing expectations for therapy together, and answering any questions they may have. This person-centered approach fosters a strong therapeutic alliance and empowers clients to take an active role in improving their daily lives. Through this collaborative process, we work together to achieve meaningful and lasting change.
My passion for learning drives me to continuously seek new information and techniques to enhance my growth as a therapist. I’m particularly interested in ongoing education on topics such as helping parents of anxious children, supporting neurodiverse clients, and sharpening my skills around trauma. This commitment to ongoing education ensures that I deliver the most effective therapy sessions for my clients. Additionally, I maintain a balanced approach that combines warmth and empathy with a willingness to challenge clients when helpful. While this journey can be uncomfortable at times, clients often find it to be profoundly rewarding and transformative.

Dr. Melissa McHugh Dillon
(She/Her/Hers)
Ph.D., BCBA
Dr. Dillon specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults and their families to cope with specific challenges such as general anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, tic disorders, behavioral concerns, and life transitions. She has extensive experience with both neurotypical and neurodivergent clients, such as those with Autism Spectrum Disorder. As a trained School Psychologist, she enjoys collaborating with school staff and helping families understand the special education system, evaluation process, and how to advocate for their loved one.
Dr. Dillon believes that every family has unique challenges and strengths. Her ability to be warm and encouraging while also challenging her clients to meet their goals in a supportive environment allows parents and children to feel empowered. She also utilizes evidence-based techniques to equip her clients with a comprehensive skill set. Dr. Dillon recognizes that these are not “one-size-fits-all” treatment modalities and can adapt these approaches to fit the individual developmental and cognitive level of each client, such as combining some of these approaches.
Dr. Dillon returned to her hometown of Austin in 2018 and joined a practice specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders. She has completed several specialized training programs and has earned additional certifications in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT). Additionally, she has served as a clinical supervisor for those in the final stages of their postdoctoral training program.
